Frequently asked questions

Will the Word file look identical to my PDF?

Editable mode prioritises clean, editable text over pixel-perfect layout — headings, bold, columns and simple tables are preserved. For a visually identical copy, use Exact look mode.

Does it work on scanned PDFs?

Scanned pages are photographs with no selectable text, so Editable mode cannot extract them. Use Exact look mode, which carries the scan into Word.

Which apps open the result?

Any .docx-compatible app: Microsoft Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice, WPS Office and others.
