In one line: your PDF and image files are processed entirely on your own device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else.

Your files

Every tool on PDF WithMe runs inside your web browser. When you select a file, it is read and processed locally on your device using in-browser technology. Your files are never uploaded, transmitted, stored, logged, or seen by us or any third party. When you close or refresh the page, they are gone from memory. You can verify this yourself by disconnecting from the internet after the page loads — the tools continue to work.

Passwords

For the Protect and Unlock tools, any password you enter is used only on your device to encrypt or decrypt your file locally. Passwords are never sent anywhere and are not stored.

Analytics

To understand roughly how many people use the site and which tools are popular, we use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service. It:

does not use cookies;
does not track individuals or build profiles;
does not collect any personal data;
records only anonymous, aggregate information such as page views, approximate country, browser type and referring website.

This data cannot be used to identify you.

Cookies

PDF WithMe does not use tracking or advertising cookies. A small technical "service worker" may cache the site's own files in your browser so it loads quickly and works offline — this stays on your device and contains none of your documents.

Accounts & payments

There are no accounts, no logins and no payments. We do not ask for your name, email or any other personal detail to use the tools.

Third parties

The site loads a small analytics script (GoatCounter) and web-font files. It does not sell or share data, because it does not collect personal data in the first place.

Children

PDF WithMe is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13.
